Pure Cloud Block Store Included - Block Only Included - Block Only Included - Block Only Not Included Only

1 Service Level Objectives are intended to be met when workloads fall within the Bandwidth SLA.  Large average block sizes will have inherently higher latency but equally higher bandwidth

2 Based on the average reads/writes as measured in terms of MiB/TiB and IOPS/TiB (IOPS = average IO size divided by 16KB) of the applicable Reserve Commitment, or the Effective Used Capacity for all Evergreen//One customers, average and reported over the prior month. Workloads with a write ratio of greater than 50% of total bandwidth may reduce the overall ability to exceed this SLA.  This is not a run-time metric; actual IOPS/TiB may vary based on the characteristics of the workload. Pure only evaluates underlying equipment based on the assumed workload characteristics. The performance can be achieved when used with block workloads only. Quote numbers assume FC (or NVME-OF) "DMA" Direct Memory Addressing performance from the host. iSCSI and SMB numbers may be lower.

3 Note that Pure Cloud Block Store does not adhere to the same performance SLAs as the stated one for the various tiers (latency, IOPS, or throughput). Pure Cloud Block Store performance varies on the model and the cloud vendor but can be covered under the specified tier licensing. Pure Cloud Block Store can be separately quoted if preferred. See this KB: Understanding Cloud Block Store Licensing

4 This does not apply to Pure Cloud Block Store. There is no difference in rates for low-reducing workloads on CBS.

5 If Pure Cloud Block Store is purchased through the AWS or Azure Marketplace the minimum can be 20 TB. It is also possible to purchase a purely on-demand license for CBS. See this KB: Understanding Cloud Block Store Licensing

The service offers tremendous burst performance headroom and most customer workloads will be able to drive significantly more performance.  Evergreen//One can also support custom performance requirements that are higher than what is quoted in the service catalog.
