Pure Cloud Block Store Allowed Allowed Allowed Not Allowed

* Based on the the average reads/writes as measured in terms of MB/s per TiB and IOPS/TiB (IOP = 16K average IO size) of the applicable Reserve Commitment, or the Effective Used for all Evergreen One customers, average and reported over the prior month. The workload characteristics are up to a 50/50 read/write, DRR=4:1, block size=16K, and concurrency=60%. However this is not a run-time metric and actual IOPS/TiB may vary based on the characteristics of the workload. Pure only evaluates underlying equipment based on the assumed workload characteristics. The performance can be achieved when used with block workloads only. Quote numbers assume FC (or NVME-OF) "DMA" Direct Memory Addressing performance from the host. iSCSI numbers will be lower.

**Note that Pure Cloud Block Store does not adhere to the same performance SLAs as the stated one for the various tiers (latency, IOPS, or throughput). Pure Cloud Block Store performance varies on the model and the cloud but can be covered under the specified tier licensing. Pure Cloud Block Store can be sepeterly quoted if preferred. See this KB: Understanding Cloud Block Store Licensing

***This does not apply to Pure Cloud Block Store. There is no difference in rates for low-reducing workloads on CBS.

****If Pure Cloud Block Store is purchased through the AWS or Azure Marketplace the mininum can be 20 TB. It is also possible to purchase a purely on-demand license for CBS. See this KB: Understanding Cloud Block Store Licensing

The service offers tremendous burst performance headroom and most customer workloads will be able to drive significantly more performance.  Evergreen//One can also support custom performance requirements that are higher than what is quoted in the service catalog.
